Ho, ho, h-oh my goodness, it’s that time of the year again! Yes, with 111 days to go (give or take), top beauty brands like LookFantastic, Sephora, Boots, Anthropologie and Fortnum & Mason have been dropping the waitlist links to the most anticipated item of the year – beauty advent calendars.
The days of wanting one filled with chocolate are over (well, maybe we want both if we’re honest), as we now crave a plethora of beauty products instead – and to count down to the big day that way.
In previous years, big named brands with bouji and expensive items like Augustinus Bader, 111SKIN, Elemis, La Mer and Charlotte Tilbury (to name a few) have been included – giving those of us on a lemonade budget the chance to ‘try before we buy’.
As for this year? Well brands seem to have outdone themselves, with prices starting from £100 for one, yet full of products well worth over £500.
So far, LookFantastic, Cult Beauty, Sephora, SpaceNK, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods and Liberty are just a few that have opened the waitlist – with some already live, and ready to ship.

Having spent years judging and opening them ahead of December (like August), Sarah’s been lucky enough to have enjoyed some incredible products like in the world of skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrance and even candles that she wouldn’t have before.
‘I’m also obsessed with minis! I genuinely have items stashed from a beauty advent calendars from years ago.
